…And Get Sales Copy That Converts Viewers into Buyers!
Do you struggle with writing sales letters?
Do you find coming up with interesting titles for your blog posts seems a lot harder than it should be?
Do you find yourself spending more time watching the cursor flash on your screen than you do actually writing your sales letter?
Would you like to know how to create sales letters and blog posts that are much, much better than most of your competition without having to pay thousands of dollars to a copywriter?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, this is for you.
I’ve been writing sales letters now for almost 2 decades, back when they were in print rather than on the web.
Some of my best printed sales letters got around about 5.3% conversion rate, which is almost unheard of.
Nowadays, on the web, I’m getting anything between 5% and 20% conversion rate.
And I’d like you to join me and find out how you can do the same.
I’ve created a series of 10 videos that walk you through the process of creating a sales letter that falls into at least the “good” category without spending hours and hours, slaving over a hot keyboard. Or, worse still, staring at the cursor flashing on a blank screen!
It’s an affordable, easy to follow, watch over my shoulder series of videos that will help take you from your current sales letter expertise through to a very good level in about an hour.
Yes!
The first 8 videos last under an hour and will take you through the entire process of creating a sales letter (or a blog post or whatever else you want people to click on online) and will take you much closer to “expert” status than you ever dreamed possible.
Here’s what you get as soon as you click the buy button:
Video 1: An overview of Copywriting – whether it’s for sales letters or getting more visitors to your website.
It’s the same principle whether you’re creating your sales letter masterpiece or a blog post that you’d like people to visit (and then spend money with you!) or a forum post or near enough anything else that you put on the web.
This will give you a general overview and you can also use this video as a refresher course when you want to jog your memory.
It lasts 8 minutes 27 seconds and will give you a very clear overview of what’s to come.
In fact, by the time you’ve watched it, you’ll know more about writing sales letters and copywriting in general than most of your competitors.
Video 2: Headlines – using a headline generator
This may sound like cheating.
But most of us aren’t professional copywriters and most of us don’t have a thick pile of swipes that we can refer to when writing a headline.
There are lots of different headline generators available online and the one I use is free.
You’ll get the URL when you buy my product or you could do a quick search on Google for “free headline generator” and you’ll probably find it.
I’ll show you to fill it in and you’ll also get a copy of the 20+ headlines that it generated.
These vary in quality from not very good such as “New Discovery Reveals How To Write Good Copy Fast!”
That’s passable but the site generated a lot better headlines.
I’ve even used one of the headlines it generated for this sales page.
You clicked so I guess you think it was at least OK.
Here it is again to save you scrolling up the page:
“Here’s a Quick Way to Write Good Sales Copy Fast”
Let’s take a quick look at that headline and see why I liked it:
It’s instant – it tells you you’ve found something with the simple word “Here’s”
Then it goes on to tell you that it’s a quick way.
That’s good, because we’re all impatient and expect things to happen immediately.
So that means my headline is promising fast results.
Then it goes on to tell you what the actual product is about – writing good sales copy fast.
All in 10 words, so it’s nice and snappy.
Or, if you’re not writing an actual sales letter but are writing a Facebook post or a blog post or a website page or an article or a forum post or near enough anything else on the web then you’ll want to watch the next video:
Video 3: Headlines – writing your own
There are times when a headline generator is simply overkill.
Most of the time, unless you’re a full time copywriter, you’re not going to want to spend to hours crafting the very best headline you can come up with.
This video shows you how I come up with titles for things like blog posts, videos and articles that people are searching for and that they’ll want to click on.
By the time you’ve watched this video, you’ll be confident that you can do the same.
It’s not as difficult as it sounds and once you’ve watched this video, you’ll be able to easily come up with highly clickable titles for things like your web pages, etc.
Video 4: Let your headlines rest overnight
Headlines are weird like this.
They need their sleep!
Or, more correctly, you need your sleep to be able to find the best headline out of the ones on your shortlist quickly.
We use different parts of our brains according to what we’re doing.
Writing the initial draft of your headline uses the creative part of your brain.
Choosing the best one for your sales letter uses the analytical part of your brain.
The two don’t mix!
So the best way is to give yourself a break – ideally at least overnight – and then come back to read your headlines in the cold light of day.
Chances are, when you do this, one or two headlines will almost leap out at you from the screen.
One or two you’ll probably wonder whether you were thinking straight when you chose them. You can safely delete these!
I’ll also show you the process I use as a tie-breaker if there are several headlines to choose from.
Video 5: Sub headings
Sub headings are the things that visually break up your page.
In the case of this sales letter, they’re the ones that start with the word “Video” followed by a number and then whatever the video is about.
On a different sales letter, they’d be about the various topics that your product covered.
On a blog post, they’d be used when you switched to a different part of the same subject.
Whatever their eventual purpose, sub headings work to give you a head start when you’re writing.
They’re a great way to overcome writer’s block.
They’re also a great way to make sure that you include everything you first thought of in your final page.
I’ll show you the process that you need to use to come up with your sub-headings.
If it’s a really long sales letter, sub-sub-headings will help a lot.
So, for this sales letter, here are the sub-headings I used:
- Video 1 Copywriting – overview – not just for sales letters
- Video 2 Headlines – using a generator
- Video 3 Headlines – writing your own
- Video 4 Let headlines rest overnight
- Video 5 Sub headings
- Video 6 Remaining content – ask questions, identify with problems
- Video 7 Call to action
- Video 8 Graphics or not?
- Video 9 Actual sales letter creation – writing
- Video 10 Actual sales letter creation – fine tuning
You’ll be doing the same once you’ve watched this video!
Video 6: Write the remaining content – ask questions, identify with problems
This is the easy bit even though most people think it’s not!
Because of all the steps you’ve taken so far, you’ll be able to confidently type away and write a few paragraphs on each of the sub headings you’ve already identified.
I’ve even recorded me typing this complete sales letter (that’s in a later video) so you’ll be able to see this work in practice.
Most people can write a handful of paragraphs on a topic. It’s about as easy as replying to email!
And that’s what you’ll have done by the time you get to this stage of the sales letter writing.
In fact, this bit is almost relaxing!
Video 7: Call to action
No self respecting sales letter misses off the call to action.
That would defeat its purpose in life.
The same goes for an article or a blog post or anything else where you want people to do something.
A call to action can be as simple as telling people to click the buy button.
That’s what I do a lot of the time…
… because it works!
We’ll take a more in depth look at using calls to action in your sales letter including how often you should use them and whether you should use a guarantee. Like the 30 day money back guarantee you’ll get when you buy this product!
You’ll also get a copy of the big graphic “buy now” button that I use outside sites like the Warrior Forum where I have to use my own buy button.
Video 8: Should you use Graphics or not?
Graphics tend to be a very personal choice.
There’s no correct answer here – some of the top performing sales letters in the world use graphics, others don’t.
If you do decide to use graphics, I’ll show you where to get great pictures that cost absolutely nothing and that you’re allowed (even encouraged) to use.
We’ll also talk about the pros and cons of turning your whole sales letter into one gigantic graphic – you see this quite a bit on this site and I’ll let you know why I don’t think it’s a good idea to do this unless you’re a complete control freak!
Video 9: Actual sales letter creation and writing
This video lasts roughly an hour and it’s completely optional whether or not you watch it.
I started the clock when I started creating this sales letter and you’ll hear what I’m thinking whilst I create it.
It took just over 51 minutes to create this 9 page sales letter!
So if you’ve ever wondered how to create a sales letter for your WSO or other offer in under an hour, watch along with this video and find out how you can do the same!
Video 10: Actual sales letter creation – fine tuning
At the time of writing, this video isn’t recorded.
But it will be ready by the time you buy this offer!
This final video covers the last part of the sales letter writing process: fine tuning.
This is very similar to letting headlines rest overnight and often is the difference between a good sales letter and a very good sales letter.
This final part involves you reading your masterpiece out loud!
Scary at first – although you can pretend you’re talking to someone on the phone or on Skype until you’re comfortable with explaining to any baffled onlookers that you’re finishing writing a sales letter!
The video will include this fine tuning and actually placing the offer on the Warrior Forum.
You’ll get instant access to all 10 videos. You can watch them in your browser and you can also download them so you’ve always got a copy on your hard drive.
The price is going up every few sales, so the sooner you decide to buy, the cheaper it will be.
There is a special offer before you get to the download page:
It’s my 4 week copywriting intensive course where I’ll take you through the whole process of writing a sales letter in depth – including homework to keep you on track and a critique of your sales letter once you’ve drafted it.
I’ll leave it up to you whether or not to go for that – you can choose now or later, no pressure.
But it all begins with clicking the buy button:
