WordPress is used for over 1 in 6 new websites.
It’s easy to use once you know how and it’s super powerful.
It’s used by all sorts of websites: the Rolling Stones run their whole site through it, lots of news sites and other organisations run parts of their websites with WordPress. Not to mention Coca Cola’s complete site in France or Justin Bieber. Or the support site for the TV show The Million Pound Drop.
So you’re in good company with it.
But it can be confusing to start with.
Which is where WordPress training comes in.
The best training is hands on – I’ll come to your premises and spend half a day with you to bring you up to speed and answer all your specific questions.
If you haven’t installed WordPress yet, I can help with that (either face to face or send you a series of videos that will walk you through the whole process).
Then we’ll look at the ins and outs of getting the most out of your WordPress website.
That will include checking that you’ve got the best plugins for your site.
Plugins extend WordPress in almost any conceivable direction. From relatively simple things like making sure people can easily contact you right the way through to running appointment calendars and much more.
There are also plugins to make sure that you get regular backups of your site and yet other ones that will help you come higher up the all important Google rankings.
We’ll cover all that in your WordPress training session and it will be specific to your company’s needs.
So if there’s anything you’re unsure about, we can cover that and make sure that at the end of the training you’re fully up to speed with everything that WordPress can do for you.
